Are you passionate about data and data technologies? Do you have an in-depth understanding of data engineering principles? Your role
In this key role of Data Engineer and Analyst, you possess a combination of strong technical, analytical and visualization skills. You will be working on our clients’ digital transformation projects, with a focus on their data domains transformation and migration from classical architectures to modern ones, as well as growing their AI and Data Science Capabilities. You will work together with business stakeholders, their architects, and data teams to deliver comprehensive and high-performance solutions. in addition to delivering solutions, you will be training our clients’ employees on the solutions you deliver and support them to take maximum advantage of these solutions and technologies. You will also contribute to the selection and mentoring of high potential colleagues in our Trainee and Graduates Program.
Your profile
- A university degree or comparable in computer science, data science, or big data engineering
- An in-depth understanding of data engineering principles, including data warehousing, ETL, and data modeling.
- Hands-on experience of at least 3 years as data engineer in digital transformation contexts, and complex on premises and cloud architectures
- Hands-on experience in data modeling for BI and analytics
- Comfortable and hands-on working with a variety of programming languages and technologies, such as Python, SQL, NoSQL, Hadoop, DalaLake, Synapes, DataBricks, SnowFlake, Dremio, and other modern technologies
- Have a deep understanding of data visualization and analysis tools, such as Tableau, QlikView, D3.js, PowerBI, and more if possible
- Familiar with the concept of Data Mesh and Data Products
- Excellent visualization and communication skills, ability to visualize and explain complex insights, in simple and comprehensive words and visuals to business stakeholders
- Hands-on experience working in Azure and AWS environments
- Experience as AI Engineer or Data Scientist would be a decisive advantage
Languages
Fluent in English, German and French would be a plus.
