Your role
In this key role of Data Architect in our Technology Architecture Practice, you will be collaborating with our clients’ management to develop their data strategy, that meets their corporate needs and their industry requirements. You will work with their business and enterprise architects to envision data pipelines and flows through the enterprise. in addition to delivering our clients’ target architecture and the transitions to get there, you will be helping them choose the right technologies that support their vision and that fit into their enterprise architecture. You will be accompanying them to transform their data domain architecture. As an experienced data architect, you are driving our clients’ improvement of analytics landscape, in their on-premises and cloud architectures, in order to enable actionable insights to all data consumers within and outside their organization.
Your profile
- A university degree or comparable in computer science, data science, or big data engineering
- Hands-on experience of at least 3 years as data architect in digital transformation contexts
- Hands-on experience of at least 3 years as data engineer in complex on premises and cloud architectures
- Hands-on experience in data modeling for BI and analytics
- At least 3 major Data domain architectures in the context of digital transformation
- Hands-on experience with complex queries, consuming data in large SQL / NoSQL databases as well as in DataLakes
- Familiar with the concept of Data Mesh and Data Products
- You have excellent planning and communication skills, and can visualize complex ideas, roadmaps, and visions to leadership, developers and solution architects in simple and comprehensive words and visuals.
- Hands-on experience with technologies, such as Snowflake, Azure Synapse, Dremio, Data Bricks
- Recognized certifications are welcome
- Hands-on experience working in Azure and AWS environments
- Experience as AI Engineer, Data Scientist / analyst, would be a decisive advantage
Languages
Fluent in English, German and French would be a plus.
