Are you committed to ensure our clients’ business strategy is translated into concise business capabilities, business processes, roles, information assets and business architecture artefacts that enable the technology architecture, and work hand in hand with the business and the enterprise architecture? Your role
You are a pragmatic and value driven professional that links and define measurements for every project in every step of a transformation roadmap to its contribution to the enterprise value map and define measurable KPIs to monitor it. You will be working with our clients’ senior management to translate their operational and functional strategy into business capabilities and target business architecture that enables its success, as well as the transitions to get there with agility, and meet their corporate needs, their industry requirements, and their strategic objectives. As an excellent communicator, you can transparently raise early flags when you identify symptoms of potentially failing initiatives and work together with enterprise architecture and the other stakeholders to provide alternatives? In addition, you will be contributing to tuning and improving our value-driven assessment framework to our knowledge base. You will also be contributing to the selection and supervision of a couple graduate program candidates, or PhD students.
Your tasks
- Develop and maintain current and future business capabilities and target business architecture of clients’ enterprise contributing to the enterprise architecture landscape and roadmap
- Drive and facilitate the right discussions with business leaders (incl. C-level) at all levels to translate the corporate strategy into a relevant target business architecture
- Provide business design guidance and direction across all projects and initiatives and communicate business architecture and business capabilities roadmap to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Observe emerging business trends from which the organization can profit and ensure that relevant business capabilities, processes, roles and digital solutions are implemented and benefits are realized
- Create and maintain business capability, value streams, data and process maps and inventories
- Work closely with enterprise architects, domain architects, product/service owners and process engineers to develop domain architecture roadmaps, support product roadmaps and compile a holistic enterprise architecture landscape
- Manage complexity of strategy transformation initiatives by providing models and business architecture artefacts to structure deliverables and manage dependencies
- Act as an agile leader in our clients’ business strategy execution and their digital transformation
Your profile
- Master degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering degree or PhD
- Proven, multi-year track record as Enterprise Solution Architect, then Enterprise, or Business Architect in international environments, preferably with proven successful digital transformations delivered.
- Knowledge and know-how of architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Cobit), agile methodologies (SaFE, Scrum) and process and service architecture principles
- Very strong business acumen and technology/digital affinity
- Strong desire to combine economic, strategic and technical interests in a pragmatic solution
- Strong awareness of the reasons why digital transformations fail
- Self-motivating and self-driving personality with analytical and problem solving competence
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, proven ability to work in cross-functional teams on all levels and good presentation, facilitation and organizational skills
Languages
Fluent in English, German and French would be a plus.
